Distinguishing between P11 and P12 pipes lies in their chemical composition. While P11 contains up to 1.25% chromium and up to 45% molybdenum, P12 may have up to 1% molybdenum. This variance results in differing corrosion resistance and hardness in the ASTM A335 P12 Seamless Pipe. Both grades boast a minimum tensile strength of 415MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205MPa.
